Margot Laffón (1978, Bordeaux, France)
Margot Laffon is a contemporary artist of French origin living in Spain (Seville).
Her studies in Fine Arts (Seville 2003) made her move through different pictorial styles.
In 2011 she decided to leave her permanent job as a graphic designer and dedicate herself full-time to her great passion, painting.
The road was not easy nor was it easy to fight for her dream until she found her artistic identity and managed to create her own style.
Her art framed in Pop Art uses symbols and labels on the faces of unique and brave women. Themes such as fashion, bullfighting, cryptocurrency, superheroes, queens or war are used to show a message of hope and inner revolution.
Her peculiar technique, defined lines with ink and colorful acrylics on book pages manages to transmit strength and feeling through the eyes of her models.
Her original works and unique editions are distributed in prestigious private collections around the world.
